The Right Skip Size for Every Job
Picking the wrong size costs you money. Too small and you’re paying for a second skip.
Too big and you’re paying for space you don’t use. Here’s our range at a glance:
Our Midi Skip holds 4 yd³ (roughly 30–40 bin bags) and is ideal for small clearances and refits.
Step up to the Small Builder Skip at 6 yd³ (50–60 bin bags) for bulky waste, or the Large Builder Skip at 8 yd³ (60–80 bin bags) for medium site clearances.
For bigger jobs, the Clearance Skip and Enclosed Skip both offer 12 yd³ (100–120 bin bags) and are built for large site clearances.
When you’re dealing with serious volume, our RoRo Containers come in 20 yd³ for large bulky waste and light construction waste, 35 yd³ for trade use, and 40 yd³ for the very biggest jobs on site.

A bathroom refit usually suits a midi skip.
A kitchen strip-out plus a bit of garden work often fills a 6yd or 8yd builder skip.

Waste Types We Accept
Different jobs create different waste. We offer skips for:
- General waste: bricks, blocks, paving, wood, metal, construction and decorating materials, household and garden waste, soils, cardboard and plastic. Ideal for renovations, extensions and clear-outs.
- Hardcore only: bricks, concrete and hardcore stone from driveways, walls and foundations.
- Inert: soil, subsoil, topsoil and mixed hardcore soil from garden and driveway projects.
- Plasterboard: kept separate for DIY and refurbishment work.
- Green waste only: garden waste, trees and bushes.
- Wood only: non-tanalised wood from refurbishments and new builds.
- Metal only: cabinets, shelving, fencing, gates and any other metal.
Keep it safe and legal
Skips must be filled evenly and level with the top.
Drivers can face legal action for insecure loads, so overfilled skips won’t be collected and may cost extra.
Some items, like asbestos, tyres, fridges, gas bottles, tanalised timber and liquids such as paint or oil, can’t go in without prior notice.
